Wednesday Window to the World #19

This Week:

What: Old neon sign in afternoon light

Why: I managed to get a little ramble through the western fringes of Central Maryland when I stumbled across this near little artifact in the eastern portions of Frederick County.  Always the fan of old neon signs, the color combinations here just looked great in the afternoon light.  Note the beginning creep of the holiday decorations into the streetscape in the backdrop.
When: November 21, 2014.

Where: Brunswick, MD, near the Brunswick MARC Station.

Who: It was a pretty sleepy afternoon here before the evening commuter trains came calling.

How: Still using the Olympus E-PL2, focused using the art mode with an Olympus PEN-FT 38mm f/1.8 lens attached. Shot as wide open as I could muster, at f/2.8 at 1/4000 second, ISO 200.

Raw image was imported into Photoshop and given some only modest tweaking in exposure, clarity, and vibrance..
