After too long of a hiatus, my classic images return! Every Monday, I'll be spotlighting a different classic Kodachrome slide that I've picked up, and trying where I can to detail the who, what, when, where, why, and how (much) of the image:
This Week:
When: It has a 1940's style "Red Mount" so I would guess this to be taken about 1948 or so, judging between the mount and the look of the automobiles in the scene.
Where: Rochester, MN. This much was labeled on the map, and luckily, the prominent and classic looking building that dominates this view is still very much there, though from the place this photo was taken, the view of this building is very much obscured by the Mayo Clinic. The street seems to have gotten wider as well, with the grass apron and head in parking a distant memory.

Who: Not a whole lot to be seen people wise here in Rochester, despite the lovely day.
How (much): I picked up this for $5.00 even, opening bid, on ebay.
